It was planned as an entrance gate for Expo 1889 Paris Trade Show. People were overreacted to the idea of Eiffel. They thought this 10.000-ton iron structure won\u2019t look pretty in the center of the city. Moreover, there were lots of protests about this subject. At first, the Eiffel was planned to be on display for only twenty years. However, 200 million visitors have visited the Eiffel just in 2002 so there were not any second thoughts about this situation anymore. The Eiffel has three floors and every floor has an impressive view of its own. On the first and second platforms of the tower, there are restaurants. Also, you can see an exhibition on the first floor of the tower about the tower itself.
