It won’t be wrong if I say this tower is the classical station on a trip to France. The Eiffel Tower is not only the symbol of France but also we can say that it is a symbol of Europe. It is one of the most famous structures in the world. The Eiffel Tower can be seen all over Paris. It took its name from the engineer who built it, Alexandre Gustave Eiffel. The tower is the tallest structure of the city.

This fascinating structure gets approximately seven million visitors per year and it is the most visited place that people spend money on so far. Eiffel was designed for the French Revolution’s 100th anniversary. It was first planned to be built in Barcelona in1888 but then the idea declined and the construction of the Eiffel started in 1887 and finished in 1889. It was planned as an entrance gate for Expo 1889 Paris Trade Show. People were overreacted to the idea of Eiffel. They thought this 10.000-ton iron structure won’t look pretty in the center of the city. Moreover, there were lots of protests about this subject. At first, the Eiffel was planned to be on display for only twenty years. However, 200 million visitors have visited the Eiffel just in 2002 so there were not any second thoughts about this situation anymore. The Eiffel has three floors and every floor has an impressive view of its own. On the first and second platforms of the tower, there are restaurants. Also, you can see an exhibition on the first floor of the tower about the tower itself. Visitors can observe the tower by walking or with a lift as their choice.

Eyfel Kulesi

Eyfel Kulesi, Alexandre Gustave Eiffel tarafından inşa edilmiştir.
