Diana Frances Spencer, the Princess of Wales, was born in the United Kingdom on 1 July 1961. She\u2019s the mother of Prince William and Harry being the first wife of Prince Charles. She became an international idol regarding her activist spirit and beauty.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Her father Edward John, was an important man of British bureaucracy. She was born in Park House, Sandringham as the fourth child of an aristocrat family. She was baptized at St. Mary Magdalene Church by Percy Herbert. As she was of a noble family, she had always been close to the royal family.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She was the 4th child of her family. She had four siblings named Sarah, Jane, John, and Charles. But her brother John died as an infant one year before Diana was born. The Spencer family had been in a good relationship with the royal family for centuries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Diana was 7 when her parents got divorced. Frances Spencer moved to an apartment in London with Diana and one of her sisters. The Spencer sister went to visit their father at Christmas in the same year. She first started her education in Silfield Private School in Norfolk, Gayton. Then she transferred to Riddlesworth Hall School which was a boarded school when she was 9. In 1973, she joined her sisters studying at West Heath Girls School in Kent. She was a successful student there, too. She quitted West Heath at 16. She was a good musician and a great pianist. She was also good at swimming and diving. She was taking bale courses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She studied at Institut Alpin Vidmanette in Switzerland for a semester. Then she moved to London and stayed there at her mother\u2019s flat with some friends from school. Then she was taking cook classes. She worked as a pre-school teacher, cleaner, part hostess and nanny during that time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She met Prince Charles on 16 November 1977 for the first time. Charles was dating her sister Lady Sarah then. He was famous for having a tendency over the aristocratic women then and oppressed by the royal family to get married. The bride to be must have been a Protestant and a noble girl according to British customs. Diana had all the needs. This is why both the Spencers and the royal family wanted them to get married. This marriage was also a source of hope for the people who were at the edge of an economic crisis then.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n They got engaged on 24 February 1981 and they got married on 29 July 1981. Their wedding was broadcasted live on world TVs. Around 2.5 billion people watched them. Diana got the title of Galler Princess then with the approval of Canterbury Bishop.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She got married after a while. She was content about that as she had had hard days during the first years of her marriage. She gave birth to Prince William on 21 July 1982. They made a contract saying that they\u2019d not talk about their marriage. Diana\u2019s title changed. She was going to be called only as the princess of Wales. The magazine reporters were always after them so they decided to go back to Paris. They left the hotel to go to Dodd\u2019s house on the morning of 31 August.
