Ancak bu kent, M.\u00d6 d\u00f6nemlerinde de Hititler\u2019e ev sahipli\u011fi yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan; tarihin neredeyse her alan\u0131na tan\u0131kl\u0131k etmi\u015ftir. Tercan\u2019\u0131n \u00dc\u00e7p\u0131nar K\u00f6y\u00fcnde bulunan bu kilise, Erzincan\u2019\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fclmesi gereken en \u00f6nemli eserlerindendir.\u00a0 \u0130\u00e7indeki dikilita\u015flar\u0131n tarihinin 12.y\u00fczy\u0131la de\u011fin dayand\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmekte ve kilisenin di\u011fer ismi Sarp Davit Ermeni Manast\u0131r\u0131 olarak bilinmektedir.<\/p>\n
