D\u00fczce, which had been in an economically difficult situation in the 1999 earthquakes, had the provincial status in the same year and started a recovery period. It provides public livelihood with industry, agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry. In addition, D\u00fczce is the only ancient city in the Western Black Sea Region.<\/p>\n<h3>Duzce&#8217;s Population, Area and Plate Code<\/h3>\n<p>According to the population growth rate and statistical data, its estimated population is 396414. It is noteworthy that when the density of men and women is almost equal in the population. Its area is 3641 square kilometers and the plate code is 81.<\/p>\n<h3>History of D\u00fczce<\/h3>\n<p>The history of D\u00fczce dates back to the Hittites, which ruled in the 1300 B.C. The Konuralp Museum was opened to visitors in 2003.The first floor of the museum is divided into sculptures made of metal or soil in the region, the second floor is made up of weapons, ethnic clothes, traditional house and human figures. Inside the museum there are exhibition halls, conference halls, laboratories, warehouses and administrative departments. The distance between Ankara and D\u00fczce is approximately 240 kilometers and it takes an estimated 2.5 hours with a personal vehicle. The distance between \u0130zmir and D\u00fczce is approximately 580 kilometers and takes an average of 7.5 hours with a personal vehicle.<\/p>\n<h3>Regime in D\u00fczce<\/h3>\n<p>According to the protocol, the governor who is assigned by the president of the Republic comes first.
