{"id":13268,"date":"2020-04-10T10:53:42","date_gmt":"2020-04-10T07:53:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.konusarakogren.com\/blog\/?p=13268"},"modified":"2020-04-10T16:17:46","modified_gmt":"2020-04-10T13:17:46","slug":"siirt-ingilizce-tanitimi-kisa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.konusarakogren.com\/blog\/siirt-ingilizce-tanitimi-kisa\/","title":{"rendered":"Siirt \u0130ngilizce Tan\u0131t\u0131m\u0131 (K\u0131sa)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>SIIRT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Situated on the northeast end of the Southeastern Anatolia Region, Siirt is surrounded by \u015e\u0131rnak and Van from the east, Batman and Bitlis from the north, Batman from the west, Mardin and \u015e\u0131rnak from the south.\u00a0The region rises suddenly after the Southeastern Anatolian plains, and the eastern and northern parts receive abundant rainfall.\u00a0For this reason, the provincial area surrounded by Mu\u015f South Mountains from the north and Siirt East Mountains from the east constitutes one of the important water collection areas of the Tigris River.\u00a0All of the provincial territories enter the Dicle Basin.\u00a0It is the fourth largest water collection area of \u200b\u200bthe country after Havza, F\u0131rat, K\u0131z\u0131l\u0131rmak and Sakarya Basins.\u00a0Siirt is surrounded by plateaus covered with rich meadows, which receive abundant rainfall in summer and winter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Surface Area\u00a0<\/strong>: 5.718 km<sup>2<\/sup><\/p>\n<p><strong>Population:\u00a0<\/strong>330,280<\/p>\n<p><strong>Districts:\u00a0<\/strong>Center, Baykan, Eruh, Kurtalan, Pervari, \u015eirvan, Tillo<\/p>\n<h2><strong>History<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Siirt was established in the area where Mesopotamia and Anatolian civilizations intersect.\u00a0Therefore, civilizations that emerged in the north and south were effective in the cultural development of the region.\u00a0The mountainous region and the inadequate transportation facilities prevented the emergence of cultural centers of developed cities.<\/p>\n<p>Until recently, the history of Siirt\u00a0 was not clear.\u00a0Within the scope of the Southeastern Anatolia Prehistoric Studies Mixed Project, which was founded in 1963 under the direction of Halet \u00c7AMLIBEL and R.J. BRAIDWOOD, finds from the period covering Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze and Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine-Islam and Modern Age were unearthed.\u00a0Today&#8217;s cultural structure has been shaped by the effect of Turkish-Islamic Culture.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Places to visit:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ulu Mosque: <\/strong>The<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>minaret of the Ulu Mosque, known as the Tiled Minaret, reflects the typical Seljuk architecture.<\/p>\n<p>The mosque, whose construction date is not known, was repaired in 1129 (523 H) by Muguziddin Mahmut, one of the Seljuk Sultans.\u00a0In 1260 (658 H), additions to the mosque were made by El Mujahid Ishak, one of the Seljuk Atabeys, a Cizre judge.<\/p>\n<p>It is placed on the base of the minaret of the mosque and on the stone still inside the mosque, the inscription &#8220;Duacis-surun Limen Saa&#8221; is read under the inscription of Haza history-i Tecdidi binaii Mosque.<\/p>\n<p>The art masterpiece, belonging to the mosque, was transferred to the Ankara Ethnography Museum in 1933.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Veysel Karani Hz.\u00a0Tomb:<\/strong> It is in the visiting town of Baykan district.\u00a0The tomb, which was built with the mortar called Cas, and covered with a dome, was demolished in 1967 and a new tomb was built in its place.\u00a0Veysel Karani tomb and complex was restored by the Governorship in 2001 and prospered to a modern appearance.\u00a0Veysel Karaniye memorial events are organized every year between 16-17 May.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erzen Ruins:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It covers a large area between Bozh\u00f6y\u00fck village and G\u00f6kdo\u011fan village in Kurtalan district.\u00a0Some findings that Erzen ruin site is one of the first settlements in Siirt have been revealed by the researches.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tourism:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Billoris Thermal Spring:\u00a0<\/strong>Billoris hot spring is 17 km from Siirt.\u00a0It is located on the edge of Botan Stream in the South, outside the municipality and adjacent boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>In order to eliminate the problems created by this environment, which increases rheumatism diseases, nutritional disorders and nervous fatigue, utilizing resource values \u200b\u200bsuch as hot springs and climate, protecting public health and workforce efficiency, activates the &#8220;Health Tourism&#8221;
