Mu\u011fla is a county of Turkey and the 24th most crowded city in the country. According to the reports in 2019, it has a population of 983.142 people and located in the Aegean Region of Turkey. The governor of Mu\u011fla is Eseng\u00fcl Civelek. Its survey 12.654 kilometers square. The license plaque code is 48. According to the Turkish Statistics Institution. (TUIK) reports published on 4 February 2020, Mu\u011fla has 13 provinces and municipalities and 569 neighborhoods. Bodrum, Dalaman, Dat\u00e7a, Fethiye, Kavakl\u0131dere, K\u00f6yce\u011fiz, Marmaris, Mente\u015fe, Milas, Ortaca, Seydikemer, Ula and Yata\u011fan are the provinces of Mu\u011fla. <\/span><\/p>\n

A Short History Of Mu\u011fla<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Mu\u011fla is one of the oldest settlements of the Antique Caria area. It welcomed not only local Anatolian people the Carias but also the Egyptians, The Assyrians, The Scythians, The Meds and The Persians. It\u2019s believed that the name Caria comes from a commandant whose name was Car and who was the leader of the tribes coming to the area in 3400 BC. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mu\u011fla became an Ottoman City in 1391 when it was conquered by Beyaz\u0131t I. But this didn\u2019t last for a long time. In 1402, Timor conquered the city. In 1425, Murat II retook it and then it definitely became an Ottoman city. In 1919, Mu\u011fla was occupied by Italy. In 1921, the Italians left the city and it was liberated. Mu\u011fla is a rich city with historic ruins and there are 103 ruins inside the city. <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a canyon that was formed by Kara\u00e7ay, a part of E\u015fen Char shaping the border of Antalya-Mu\u011fla. It\u2019s a deep canyon with a longitude of 18 kilometers and it\u2019s 200 meters high. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mu\u011fla, Antik Karya b\u00f6lgesinin en eski yerle\u015fim yerlerinden biridir. Tarih boyunca yaln\u0131zca Anadolu\u2019nun yerli halklar\u0131ndan olan Karyalar\u0131 de\u011fil, M\u0131s\u0131rl\u0131lar\u0131, Asurileri, \u0130skitleri, Medleri ve Persleri de g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015f olan Mu\u011fla, olduk\u00e7a tarihi bir \u015fehirdir. Karya isminin, milattan \u00f6nce 3400 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u015fehre gelen kavimlere \u00f6nderlik eden Kar isimli bir komutan\u0131n ad\u0131ndan geldi\u011fi ileri s\u00fcr\u00fclmektedir. <\/span><\/p>\n

Bodrum Kalesi<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Bir liman kenti olan Bodrum\u2019da bulunan Bodrum Kalesi, 1402 y\u0131l\u0131nda, Aziz Peter Kalesi ad\u0131yla, Aziz Jean \u015e\u00f6valyeleri taraf\u0131ndan yapt\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bodrum\u2019un bir simgesi olan bu kale, 1960 y\u0131l\u0131ndan beri Sualt\u0131 Arkeoloji M\u00fczesi olarak hizmet vermektedir.<\/span><\/p>\n
