THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION<\/b>

\n<\/span>Russia, located in the eastern Europe and northern Asia, is the largest country in the world with an area of 17,075,400 square kilometers. Occupying one-tenth of all the land on Earth, it borders 16 countries in total. Additionally, it is the eighth largest country in the world in terms of its population as there are 143,893,605 people living in the Russian Federation. While the vast majority of the Russian people live in the urban areas, there are many people that prefer living in the rural areas. It\u2019s also an interesting fact that there are 11 time zones across two continents. Moreover, the Russian Federation has got coasts on three oceans in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>There\u2019s a massive diversity in terms of landscape, in Russia. While it\u2019s possible to find one of the tallest mountains of the world, you can also see deserts and frozen coastlines. Siberia, occupying the three-quarters of the country has some big pine forests. On the other hand, there are nearly 100.000 rivers in the Russian Federation. As a conclusion, there is a large number of ecosystems and species in the country. <\/span>

\n<\/span>Moscow, with 11 million inhabitants, is the capital city of Russia and the most of the population lives in the European parts of the country. St. Petersbug, along with Moscow, are the two most important cities in the country in that they are the cultural and financial centres. Generally, Russia is known for its extreme climate and weather conditions but that extreme climate, which is generally considered to be something that just makes life more difficult for the Russians, has saved the country from invaders throughout history. On the other hand, there are vast reserves of oil, gas and precious metals which are the main components of the economy of the Russian Federation. It\u2019s the country that provides products that are produced from them to majority of the countries in Europe. It can be concluded that the natural resources such as oil, coal, iron ore, gold, and aluminum are among the biggest assets of the Russian Federation.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Russian people have always been successful in arts and science. The names such as Anton Chekhov, Aleksandr Pushkin, Leo Tolstoy, Nokilay Gogol and Fyodor Dostoyevski have all made some significant contributions throughout history and it\u2019s not possible to talk about Russia and its culture without mentioning these names. The country, as a whole, has a magnificent legacy in that sense.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>Tabiat olarak Rusya\u2019da m\u00fcthi\u015f bir \u00e7e\u015fitlilik mevcuttur. \u00d6rne\u011fin, bir taraftan d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en y\u00fcksek da\u011flar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6rmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcnken, di\u011fer taraftan \u00e7\u00f6lleri ve de buz kesmi\u015f sahil \u015feritlerini g\u00f6rebilirsiniz. \u00dclkenin \u00fc\u00e7te birini olu\u015fturan Sibirya, b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00e7am ormanlar\u0131na sahiptir. Bunun yan\u0131 s\u0131ra Rusya Federasyonu\u2019nda yakla\u015f\u0131k 100.000 nehir vard\u0131r. Moskova ile birlikte St. Petersburg k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve finans bak\u0131m\u0131ndan merkez olduklar\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00fclkenin en \u00f6nemli iki \u015fehridir.
