Be\u015fikta\u015f JK was founded with the name of Bereket Gymnastic Club in 1903, in Istanbul. In 1911, the club was registered under the name of Be\u015fikta\u015f Ottoman Gymnastic Club and it is the first Turkish sports club. Vodafone Park Stadium hosts the football competitions, the football coach is Abdullah Mucib Avc\u0131. Nowadays, it contests especially in the first league in football, basketball, volleyball; and handball, athletics, physically disabled, boxing, bridge, wrestling, gymnastics, rowing table tennis, chess, and electronic sports.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brief History<\/b><\/h2>\n

Before Besiktas was founded as a club, a group of 22 people used to do gymnastics movements in the garden of the mansion of Osman Ferit Pasha in Serencebey in Besiktas. Starting with Osman Ferit Pasha\u2019s sons Mehmet \u015eamil \u015ehapl\u0131 and H\u00fcseyin Bereket and few young people in the neighborhood interested in different sports fields with tools and no tools, gymnastics, chin up, boxing, wrestling, weightlifting. The tight conditions of the period made it difficult to come together. Abdulhamid II, the sultan of the period, allowed to do gymnastics movements in terms of not to play football.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1903, Be\u015fikta\u015f Bereket Gymnastic Club was founded with special permission. Mehmet \u015eamil \u015ehapl\u0131 is the first chairman of the club, and H\u00fcseyin Bereket is general secretary. After a while, the name of the team changed to Be\u015fikta\u015f Ottoman Gymnastics Club was registered on January 13, 1910. Thus, Be\u015fikta\u015f became the first Turkish sports club registered.<\/span><\/p>\n

Achievements<\/b><\/p>\n

With 15 cups of Super League, Besiktas is the only team undefeated champion. Be\u015fikta\u015f is the only club that opens sports schools in other branches interested besides the football in Turkey.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Sergen Yal\u00e7\u0131n was born on November 5, 1972, in \u0130stanbul. He started his football career in Be\u015fikta\u015f youth setup. In 1997 he transferred to Istanbulspor. After he had some issues in here, he canceled the contract and had a break to his football career. After his return, he became the only football player who plays all of the four big teams in Turkey. After he tried his chance with different teams, he announced that he ended his football career. In 2008, he became the coach of Be\u015fikta\u015f U-15. After that, he served to A2 team and continued to sports commentator career. Meanwhile, he continued to play some games as well, and ended his football career for sure and started to write a column for the Fanatik and Vatan newspapers. Also, he has started to work as a football commentator on NTV, NTVSpor, and Kanalt\u00fcrk.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Ilhan Mans\u0131z<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Ilhan Mans\u0131z was born in Germany on August 10, 1975. He started his football career in his 13. After his success, he transferred to FC K\u00f6ln in 1994. He comes to Turkey and transferred to Gen\u00e7lerbirli\u011fi in 1994. A year later, he returned to Germany. After he played in several football teams, he transferred to Be\u015fikta\u015f in 2001. In 2001-02 season, with his success, he shared the title of a top scorer with Arif Erdem with 21 goals. Season 2002-03 he could not get into the main team because of his mutilated long time. He recovered and had a huge role in the championship. His last score was in Ankarag\u00fcc\u00fc uniform to Be\u015fikta\u015f in 2005. In 2006 he had a car accident in Germany. After he continued his treatment a while, he ended his football career in 2009.<\/span><\/p>\n

      • Metin-Ali-Feyyaz<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Metin-Ali-Feyyaz (MAF), is a combination of three football player that played in the most successful period of Be\u015fikta\u015f: Metin Tekin, Ali G\u00fcltiken and Feyyaz U\u00e7ar. The trio which has started as young players, be part of the same team for the first time in 1985. In 1986, the trio became to be the squad. They had a big role in the seasons 1989-90, 90-91, and 91-92. During this period, Be\u015fikta\u015f became the first team in the league undefeated champion in Turkey. The last game the trio played together was Zeytinburnuspor in 1994.<\/span><\/p>\n

        • R\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc Re\u00e7ber<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          R\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc Recber was born on 10 May 1973. He took his first license from the Korkuteli amateur team. Even he was a striker at first, he became the goalkeeper because he was too tall. He has played in different teams in Turkey. His career has started to rise with his discovery by his coach and met with Fatih Terim when he was a goalkeeper at Antalyaspor. He was transferred to Besiktas in 1993. As a result of a traffic accident, he did not pass the club’s health tests and the contract was canceled.<\/span><\/p>\n

          In season 1993-94, he transferred to Fenerbah\u00e7e. He played in 207 games, then transferred to Barcelona after 9 seasons in Fenerbah\u00e7e. The coach, he did not let R\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc play because he did not know Spanish and he returned to Fenerbah\u00e7e. After his return, Volkan Demirel was the main goalkeeper and R\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc could not take place in the team. Then he agreed with Be\u015fikta\u015f but Fikret Orman thought his age was a problem. He ended his football career in 2012. His jubilee match was with Finland on May 26, 2012. He was assigned as TFF-UEFA Football Development Coordinator on October 8, 2019. In 2004, he was considered Turkish goalkeeper among the great 125 football players by Pele.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Be\u015fikta\u015f\u2019\u0131n kul\u00fcp olarak ba\u015flamas\u0131ndan \u00f6nce 1902 y\u0131l\u0131nda 22 ki\u015filik bir grup, Medine Muhaf\u0131z\u0131 \u015ehapl\u0131 Osman Ferit Pa\u015fa\u2019n\u0131n Be\u015fikta\u015f\u2019ta, Serencebey\u2019deki kona\u011f\u0131n\u0131n bah\u00e7esinde jimnastik hareketleri yapard\u0131. Osman Ferit Pa\u015fa\u2019n\u0131n o\u011fullar\u0131 Mehmet \u015eamil \u015ehapl\u0131 ve H\u00fcseyin Bereket ba\u015fta olmak \u00fczere, mahalledeki birka\u00e7 gen\u00e7 aletli ve aletsiz jimnastik, barfiks, boks, g\u00fcre\u015f, halter gibi spor alanlar\u0131na ilgi duyard\u0131. D\u00f6nemin s\u0131k\u0131 \u015fartlar\u0131 bir araya gelmelerini zorla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131yordu. D\u00f6nemin padi\u015fah\u0131 II. Abd\u00fclhamid, futbol oynamamak kayd\u0131yla beden hareketi yapmalar\u0131na m\u00fcsaade ediyordu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          1903\u2019te \u00f6zel izin alarak Be\u015fikta\u015f Bereket Jimnasti Kul\u00fcb\u00fc kurulmu\u015ftur. Mehmet \u015eamil \u015ehapl\u0131 ilk ba\u015fkan, H\u00fcseyin Bereket genel sekreter se\u00e7ilmi\u015ftir. Bir s\u00fcre sonra ismi Be\u015fikta\u015f Osmanl\u0131 Jimnastik Kul\u00fcb\u00fc olarak de\u011fi\u015ftirilen tak\u0131m\u0131n ad\u0131, 13 Ocak 1910 tarihinde tescil edilmi\u015ftir. B\u00f6ylece, Be\u015fikta\u015f, tescil edilen ilk T\u00fcrk spor kul\u00fcb\u00fc oldu.<\/span><\/p>\n

          S\u00fcper Lig\u2019de 15 kupaya sahip olan Be\u015fikta\u015f, nama\u011flup \u015fampiyon olan tek tak\u0131md\u0131r. Futbolun yan\u0131nda ilgilendi\u011fi di\u011fer bran\u015flarla da T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de her bran\u015fta spor okulu a\u00e7an tek kul\u00fcpt\u00fcr.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Futbol kariyerine Be\u015fikta\u015f altyap\u0131s\u0131yla ba\u015flad\u0131. 1997 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130stanbulspor\u2019a transfer oldu. Burada sorunlar ya\u015fad\u0131ktan sonra s\u00f6zle\u015fmeyi feshetti ve uzun s\u00fcre futbola ara verdi. Futbola d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcn ard\u0131ndan D\u00f6rt B\u00fcy\u00fckler\u2019de forma giyen ilk futbolcu oldu. Birka\u00e7 farkl\u0131 tak\u0131mda \u015fans\u0131n\u0131 denedikten sonra futbolu b\u0131rakt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klad\u0131.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

            2008 tarihinde Sergen Yal\u00e7\u0131n, Be\u015fikta\u015f U-15\u2019in antren\u00f6r\u00fc oldu. Daha sonra A2 tak\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131na getirildi ve spor yorumculu\u011funa devam etti. Bu s\u0131rada yine \u00e7e\u015fitli kul\u00fcplerde ve ma\u00e7larda yer ald\u0131ktan sonra futbolu b\u0131rakarak Fanatik Gazetesi\u2019nde ve Vatan Gazetesi\u2019nde k\u00f6\u015fe yaz\u0131lar\u0131 yazmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Futbola 13 ya\u015f\u0131ndayken ba\u015flad\u0131. \u0130lgi \u00e7ekmesiyle 1994 y\u0131l\u0131nda FC K\u00f6ln\u2019e transfer oldu. 1995 y\u0131l\u0131nda T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye gelerek Gen\u00e7lerbirli\u011fi\u2019ne transfer oldu. 1 sene sonra Almanya\u2019ya geri d\u00f6nd\u00fc. \u00c7e\u015fitli tak\u0131mlarda forma giydikten sonra 2001 y\u0131l\u0131nda Be\u015fikta\u015f\u2019a geldi. 2001-2002 sezonunda ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 performans\u0131 ve 21 golle Arif Erdem ile gol krall\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 payla\u015ft\u0131. 2002-03 sezonunda sakatl\u0131klar\u0131 nedeniyle uzun s\u00fcre kadroya giremedi.
