Trabzonspor is officially registered as a team on August 2, 1967. It is an Anatolian sports team in the Big Four of Turkey. There is no other Anatolian sports team that won a cup except Trabzonspor. The coach is \u00dcnal Karaman, \u015eenol G\u00fcne\u015f Stadium, also known Medical Park Stadium, hosts the football competitions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brief History<\/b><\/h2>\n

Trabzonspor, which was officially founded in 1967, dates back to the 1900s. As it is today, Trabzon Port has always been one of the most important ports, so that Trabzon was aware of all kinds of developments of West. Trabzon was a mediator between two sides, the West and the country to spread the developments. In Ottoman Era, S\u00fcleyman R\u0131za Ku\u011fu from \u0130dmanocak wrote Asosye\u015f\u0131n Futbol which was one of the first books about football in Trabzon.<\/span><\/p>\n

There were lots of small clubs: \u0130dmanoca\u011f\u0131, \u0130dmang\u00fcc\u00fc, Necmiati, Birlikspor, Karadenizg\u00fcc\u00fc, Do\u011fanspor, Yolspor, Mart\u0131spor, Erdo\u011fdu Gen\u00e7lik ve Trabzon Lisesi. Idmanoca\u011f\u0131 and Idmang\u00fcc\u00fc were the leading ones among the others. After the head of the Football Association Orhan \u015eeref Apak founded the second and third leagues, it was expected to be founded in different clubs to have a match with those clubs. To be united, both material and moral is needed to be united all the neighbor teams under a name. At first, \u0130dmanoca\u011f\u0131 did not approach positively. That\u2019s why Trabzonspor was founded with the unification of Idmang\u00fcc\u00fc, Karadenizg\u00fcc\u00fc, Yolspor, and Mart\u0131spor. But it was felt missing without \u0130dmanoca\u011f\u0131. After a few discussions with \u0130dmanoca\u011f\u0131 and \u0130dmang\u00fcc\u00fc, a compromise was reached and \u0130dmanoca\u011f\u0131 merged with the club. On August 2, 1967, Trabzonspor was officially founded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Achievements<\/b><\/p>\n

Since Trabzonspor has started in the Second League in 1967-68 season, the team aimed to play in the First League. In season 1971-72, it is defeated in the last game and lost the chance. Then the club changes everything in the team. The changes and transferred players became champions and take place in the first league in season 1973-74.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1975-76 season, Trabzonspor made Trabzonspor fans happy. The same year, Trabzonspor won the Presidents Cup and the Championship of Chancellor Cup. In 198-81 season, it has added a start to the claret and sky blue colored uniforms by becoming champion. Another shining moment of the team was the winning of the Super Cup in the 2009-10 season. In total, the club has 6 league championships, 7 Presidents Cups, 8 Turkish Cups, and 5 Chancellor Cups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other Successful Branches<\/b><\/p>\n

Trabzonspor, like other football clubs, contests in the branches of marksmanship, athleticism, boxing, table tennis, volleyball, and judo. In 2018, Trabzonspor Women\u2019s Table Tennis Team honored the club and join the league Super League. At the same time, Trabzonspor Men’s Judo Team came second in the Anatolian Stars League Judo Semi-Final Competitions held this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u015eenol G\u00fcne\u015f was born on June 1, 1952, in Trabzon. Even though G\u00fcne\u015f has started to interest in sports with basketball, then he preferred to play football in his career. After he was a goalkeeper in Erdo\u011fdu Youth Club, he started to play in Trabzonspor when he was 17. In 1969 he started his professional football career in A. Sebatspor. He transferred to Trabzonspor in 1972. He has a record that skill could not be broken that disallows the goal the longest time in Super League. He ended his goalkeeper career in 1987 and continued to be the coach.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u0130brahim Yattara was born on June 3, 1980. He started his football career in San Garedi. In 2003 he transferred to Trabzonspor and became Turkish citizen on October 29, 2010. He was one of three players which are called \u201cthe great trio\u201d during the season he was a teammate with G\u00f6kdeniz Karadeniz and Fatih Tekke.<\/span><\/p>\n

        G\u00f6kdeniz Karadeniz was born on January 11, 1980, in Giresun. He started his football career in <\/span> Yeniyolspor and transferred to the Trabzonspor youth setup in 1995. In the 1998-99 season, he began his professional career. Due to the news, he did not feel safe and transferred to Rubin Kazan in 2008. In his new team, he wears a uniform with number 61. On October 20, 2009, Championship League competition, he scored the goal that put Barcelona in a difficult situation and he was chosen as a star of the competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bu nedenle \u0130dmang\u00fcc\u00fc, Karadenizg\u00fcc\u00fc, Yolspor ve Mart\u0131spor\u2019un kat\u0131lmas\u0131yla Trabzonspor\u2019u kurdu.
